Shark Products / Wasabi Grater

Oroshiki are a very special grater used in Japan and now worldwide by many chefs for grating wasabi and ginger roots.  While there are ceramic and metal versions, well known sushi chefs in Japan show a preference to the original, shark skin oroshiki.  The shark skin is abrasive in both directions, more so than sting ray skin.  The adhesive used is resistant to moisture, heat, and constant pressure.
