Hydrophis platurus | Sea Snake |
East Asia | No |
A beautiful, non venomous snake.
Snake leather is in high demand, and it can be very costly. Many snake leathers are protected under CITES and require extra license (python, for example) and other species are listed as endangered. The sea snake, on the other hand, is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN. All skins are about 4-5 feet long and 6-8 inches wide.
The red skins remaining have been reduced in price due to small holes present. There are no Grade A skins in stock at present.
