Camelus bactrianus. Camel leather, full hides. Soft, upholstery grade. Some natural holes in hides, and natural damage from the harsh desert climates are to be expected. Very soft, 2-3mm thick. Hides are 15-20 square feet. Most often used for bags, but upholstery for couches and chairs are not uncommon. It has 10 x the fiber per square inch than lamb or cow leather, which gives it a unique tensile strength.
7 year old child for size reference, not included in sale.
